The Cancer Council of Australia is Proudly Supported by Beautiful Room

07/05/2012

Every year the Cancer Council of Australia holds their Biggest Morning Tea, where every cup counts. Raising awareness, but most importantly raising the much-needed funds for research, prevention, education, and support services.

By the age of 85, one in two Australians are diagnosed with Cancer. It is inevitable then, that this disease will touch us all in some form. It is with that alarming statistic that we endeavor to try and help reduce its impact. Each year we are hosts to our very own Biggest Morning Tea.

In just under two hours last year we raised over $1800, and this year we are hoping to beat that. So take a minute to read what the cost of a cup of tea or coffee would provide the Cancer Council.

$5
helps give a newly diagnosed cancer patient important support and information to help them through their cancer journey.

$10
helps offer free exercise programs to help patients build strength during and after treatment.
$25 helps transport cancer patients to and from hospital.

$50 helps the Cancer Council Helpline (Ph:13 11 20) provide free and confidential information and support.

$100 helps provide free accommodation to cancer patients, and their families during treatment.
$500 helps fund ground breaking research into new and better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
